My boyfriend and I have been dating for 4 months. Everything is great except that we're on break from school now (I'm in VA and he's in MN). It's too expensive for me to go visit him, so he's coming back early to see me. Anyway, last time he called me was on Wednesday, and he told me he really really missed me and couldn't wait to see me. I tried calling him on Thursday and again today, but I still haven't heard anything from him since Wednesday. Is this weird?
btw, he did mention before break that he doesn't really like talking on the phone, but that he would try and call me a lot (prior to wednesday, he called me everyday).

Since I am from that neck of the woods I'll try to answer.
1) He is in a snowy climate with all kinds of outdoor activities that he can pursue.. (ice fishing, sledding(snow mobile), ski-ing etc eta al..)
You said he doesn't like the phone.. Give him a chance and quit panicking..

It's a stretch, but the blizzard in Denver hit on Tuesday and should have reached Western MN on Friday Night since it will be in Chicago Sunday. So maybe he's just helping neighbors dig out.
If you believe that, you are really wanting him to not be screwing around. If he doesn't call by Christamas Eve, start making other plans for New Years!

Grace is that you? lol. HI. I'm one of those guys like your boyfriend, and exactly what you have described, is what is going on with me. Most guys, while they still love their girlfriend, will dread when he sees their name on the caller ID. Especially during break.
Why?
Because guys like to sit back and relax and do things on their own schedule, and not get caught in a chick conversation, that's long and boring , and awkward.
He sill loves you. And He's Still thinking about you, probably in everything he dose. it's Just that talking on the phone just ain't his cup of tea. But he'll still call you from time to time, because he feels bad that he hardly dose. So when he dose call you, know that he really means it.

This isn't wierd at all. People are different, some people like talking on the phone, some don't. By dating someone for four months, you basically know your partner pretty well. If he says he likes you, you should believe him and don't worry about things. Maybe he is trying to surprise you!

Did you try emailing him? If he don't care for the phone, then there's always IM. Anyway, if he's never acted this way, then be patient. Maybe the phone lines are down where he's at. If he does give you some lame excuse, then you'll know what to do. Best of luck to you.

It could be anything. Maybe he forgot his charger at school, or lost his phone, or something nuts like that. Maybe he's been busy shopping and getting ready for Christmas, or maybe he's got a girl on the side at home and he's not answering for obvious reasons. My guess is one of those 3.

the phone thing is usually an excuse cause he doens't wanna talk to u. and so is the busy thing. if u care about someone there is no reason u can't call them every day. even if for 2 or 3 minutes. when i was with one of my ex's (who live about 2 hours away) and i worked 2 jobs, went to the gym, and still hung out with frineds, but found time to call her every day. even if it was just for 2 or 3 minutes. no reaosn why he can't

Don't sweat it. (1) He told you he doesn't like the phone. (2) It is the Holidays, he maybe shopping (maybe even for you) or visiting relatives or friends he hasn't seen in a while.Don't start writing a story about what is happening and get yourself upset.Just be patient ,you know he'll call.

He is on vacation at home. I am home for the holidays and I have soooo many things to do. He is probably visiting friends and family. I understand you miss him but it sounds like you want him home pinning for you. I don't think he is doing any wrong.
