I have a 1997 Dodge Stratus and I want to change my rear 6X9s and I cant get to them as there is no screw underneath and I dont know how to get the top off
does anyone know how to do this?

the whole back is covering the speakers and there is screws comeing out the bottom but I cant get the top off to get to the csrews so how do I get it out with out wrecking it ?

you will have to take your backseat out, bottom and top. Then the carpet cover (or what ever it is) will come out, then you can access the speakers to remove them.

You should just be able to pry the top cover off with a screw dirver. I believe it's just held on by either v-clips or the edged style buttons. Once you get the cover off you'll have access to the screws to take the speakers out.

if i remember correctly, you can pop off the screen from the top and then see scerws from the top..if not, then look again underneath for screws etc...more then like, it will come out from the top...good luck, and let me know !!!
