That varies depending on what city and county you live in. Where I live, we are taxed by the school district, the city, the county, the county healthcare system, and the community college. Added together, they make up $2.526 per $100 of the net taxable value of the property.

I would think it would vary depending on where in Texas the property is. In Pennsylvania at least, property tax rates are set by county, school district and municipality.
