i find that if you eat a lot of salty foods that will happen. also if you bite on your cheeks and or tongue while you sleep, can also do it.

good question. It happens to me all the time. I think its from smoking. But if you don't smoke than I dunno. I get blood blisters. can't wait to see the answers.
