As long as you both are single I don't see why not. But if things get serious I would get a new Godfather.

It depends on circumstances. If you are related to your godfather, that would not be too cool along the lines of 'normal' dating. Age difference can be considered, but to some, age is nothing but a number. The big thing is that you aren't breaking any sacred 'unwritten' rules of dating (as mentioned with the relationship thing above), you're cool. If you aren't and you are happy, then who is to judge you?! You could be doing a lot worse things like being a murderer, etc., so if it is good for you and you aren't hurting anyone (or confusing your child in any way), then have at it. Just remember that you are responsible for your decisions in life.

No it's not wrong because when you make that person your childrens godfather your putting your trust in that person and obviously if you two were to get married it would be the same because he would treat that child the same or even better than he did.

i think as long as you are not related and you are happy i dont see anything wrong with it. and if you do get serious you dont have to get another godfather.just leave it what it is.

I don't think so. But of course, it would be in my case. My godparents are my aunt and uncle.

if you're single and he is too. I guess no, but if you or him are cheating on your or his wife/husband that is not good.
