If the warm weather continues, take a long walk through Soho and Greenwich Village. Go for a ride on the Staten Island Ferry and get a good up close view of the Statue of Liberty. Go to Rockefeller Center at night and see the tree. Visit Saint Patrick's Cathedral. Visit a museum (I think the Metropolitan is one to visit if you can only see one - the Met is one of the finest in the world).
See an off-broadway show or see a concert. New York has a lot of free concerts and very inexpensive shows. When you're in midtown, see Times Square and Grand Central Station. Into sports? Catch a game at Madison Square Garden.
Have a great time!

Times Square- look for naked Cowboy and take a picture with him. Ride the subway downtown and walk Tribeca- excellent restaurants. The tree is still in Rockerfeller Plaza and you must ice skate. Expensive, but once in a lifetime. Bryant Park has a street festival now, I think. Its artsy. I like a night show at the Planetarium. Don't be touristy, just subway, walk and eat a hot dog from a cart. Have fun!

I love the museum of natural history but you need at least one whole day there. Also just to say that you've been there time square is cool and has great shopping.
