the guy is a former close friend. and apparently, both of them are on the same field. considering they have to work together everyday.

Speak with the police, get a restraining order. If they have to work together, the order can limit interaction to just that area and no other. She may also want to discuss the matter witht he HR of her business; if the man is bullying her/intimidating or what have you, he may be a threat to other women as well.

she needs to talk to him to clarify that we have only professional relation now and we can be friends if u remain in ur limits and behave...
he will understand...
but if he tries to go beyond the limits u have defined...then the good thing would be do to the work related things via email only...
if he stops by to ask something.. u can say..i am busy..please send an email and i will respond asap..
he will get the hint..

take Carrie Underwood's advice. ha ha. No, be straight forward about leaving you (and your current bf?) alone... Have the confidence to SAY what you MEAN. Don't be all girlie- nows not the time.
