A 6 to 10 pound bird - roast for 30 minutes at 425 and then 45 to 90 mins at 350.

A 10 to 10 pound bird - roast for 30 minutes at 425 and then 90 to 150 minutes at 350.

A goose is normally around 9 to 11 lbs ish....Oven preheated to 190...roast it on a wire rack as they are quite fatty..should take about 3 1/2 hours. That's the basic method...season with some salt before puting in the oven...that's the real basic method,,,but that's the right timing.

When my Year 3/4 class were learning about food, my teacher said it would take approximately 45 mins!

my dad said it would take my brother 2 days to cook his goose and he was back in two days

I have answered this question so many times. cook like a turkey but prick the skin all over so the grease runs out baste quite a lot.

depends how big it is - 20 mins per pound plus 20 mins at 180 is a good starting point
