Try Religioustolerance.org
They cite research and give facts on ALL religions, keeping bias to a minimum. It is really an eye-opener. I have spent hours there, because I, too, am searching and simply don't buy into a lot of the control and financial issues that are such a large part of organized religion. If you keep an open mind and put what you have been told aside, you will be very surprised what some of these religions are all about, especially Wiccan (Witchcraft) Paganism, and yes, even Satanism. (Gasp! Horror..!) ;-) These things are NOT what Christianity and other religions would have you believe. Fear not, read with an open mind and you will be enlightened, I can tell you. Happy searching!

If I may give you a little advise. when looking for a religion I wouldn't suggest that you look on line. You never can tell who is the one running the site. There for you can not be sure to get the correct information. Read the bible and look things up put on paper what you find to be important for a religion to have.. Make sure they follow Jesus teachings. Then go to different churches talk to the pastors and ministers who ever can answer your questions.
By looking for your self from the Bible you will be letting God show you his words not mans.

I think that you should learn about Jesus Christ. I believe that all religions are teaching us some of the truth and some lies. Check out my question "Do you think that the birth of the Red Heifers born in the 1990's is proof that the Messiah is coming soon?" Please read the comment section. There is an important message for everyone.

There's a book Mankind's Search for God published by JWs. I read it and it gave different insights on different religions.
