Create an elaborate diversion and get in whilst the bouncers and dazzled by the awesome sight! Failing this, why not just go somewhere with mates where you don't need ID! I found its more about the company rather than the location

Neither an SS card or "snicker" school id is going to do it although some "college bars" will honor a school id as a token of "good business sense." The law doesn't say what kind of ID it has to be - it simply says you cannot SERVE someone under 21. Checking ID's is a business' way of "preventing" breaking the law. It is easier to not "serve" underaged when you don't let underaged in. So it is up to the bouncer/server what ID's to accept. The general rule is that it has to be an official ID issued by the State or Federal Government (though some won't accept military IDs). So a passport is good but your school ID likely won't be.
Dude, after posting I just remembered the best "fake" ID I used back then - 20 bucks. Slip him your ID with 20 bucks under it. You'll get in. (then again it was 20 bucks about 20 years ago . . . so - well you do the math). This works best with bouncers and never really with bartenders. Good luck.

Call the bar ahead of time and ask them what they want to see to prove your age. I've had the same problem before: I loose my id constantly. Some bars in my area let me in with 2 forms of id... college id and birth certificate for example. Or go to a bar that you've been served at in the past where the bartenders know you and know you are old enough.

How old do you look, you must look pretty young. Well, I know i am 31 and i still get my id checked, makes me feel really good, especially when i was devistated last yr when i turned 30, really was the worst!!
I dont know if those would work, I think they need other id, good luck though. Or you can just stay home till you get your license back or get an id from your state.
Good luck and have some fun, enjoy it while you can, I am a mother of 4 boys and we dont get out much anymore : )

humorous you need to ask this cuse my husband is a secure practices gaurd at community bars in dwntwn lbc and he has taught me some issues about those circumstances. legally they don't seem to be meant to aid you in a bar with no valid idenifaction card. they ought to verify the cardboard to make confident that's valid. there are over 10 diverse procedures to attempt this so do not extremely worry getting a pretend identity that's almost ineffective. besides the indisputable fact that there are some bars once you've a military identity or college identity that's ok. the papers putting forward that's comming interior the mail received't help. they favor to work out an identity nonetheless putting forward that that's you varifying the age with a cutting-edge image. a beginning certificate is incomprehensible to them yet congrats on being born! in end i'd bypass with a student identity yet don't be too dissapointed in the experience that they don't aid you in.

Not gonna happen. They won't let you in without a government ID. You need a passport, a military ID, or a license. Nothing else will do.

You don't! You need a governmnet issued photo ID to be served if you appear to be 27 or younger. No bar or liquor store is going to risk their license on you.
Guess there are some advantages to being an "Old Fart." ;)

If you lost your driver's license, perhaps going to a bar isn't your best choice.

you can probally use your before 21 license if you got your sheet of paper thats got all the info on it. One of my buddies had to do that one time and he was 23 at the time. They didnt like it but we explained. Maybe we just got lucky.

DMV should be able to cut you one on the spot for a fee. Depending on where you are, only limited hours on a weekend.
You could use a Passport as well.
