This an interesting question. God does not make mistakes. He knows how to have the job done. Children belong to God no matter what. So when we grow older and we start to understand things and make decisions for ourselves then we are accountable for our decisions.

I do not believe this limbo thing, that is why I did not have any problem leaving Lutheran church. The sinner is actually quite nasty sounding word and rubbed me wrong way for a long long time. Now I do not have a problem with that because we all fall short from the glory of God, but He loves us anyway. And He forgives.

It is OK that we question God. But when you look at the big picture, heaven is a wonderful place. This life here is only a temporary assignment. This life here is a short time, forever is a long long time. And as we are sinners here, all of us..even children ( I have a little bit problem with that too ) we all can go to heaven, and in heaven there is no more sin. Just wonderful harmony, and that is our final resting place. It sure can be hectic here.

One group says we're all born sinners, the other we're all born to suffer. I think they're talking about the same thing BUT one requires a god to define the sin. And your question even presupposes a creator. I'd really ask how good things can get from that supposition - if I'm a sinner, can I still merit a Wii?

How we were created? No. Adam and Eve were created perfect but with the capacity to choose to obey or not to obey God. God gave them only one command in terms of things they were told NOT to do - not to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. They chose to disobey and eat from that tree. This meant they now fell into the "sinner" category (i.e. willfully disobedient).

Being sinners, it followed that their offspring would be born in the same state as them - sinners. Each subsequent human being born has the predisposition toward sin. All people choose to sin in their lifetime. True?

Your real question, I think, is why were we given a free will in the first place? Isn't this the "error" God made? If we were created without the capacity to choose evil over good, then we wouldn't have this problem of sin, right?

Well, yes. But then what would we have? Humankind was created to glorify God by CHOOSING to acknowledge Him and to opt for good over evil. If we didn't have free will and just mindlessly obeyed God that would not be very fulfilling for Him, would it? So, by giving us free will, He can now find satisfaction in the fact that there are people who from their own heart and mind choose to deny sin a place in their lives and to worship God.

Adam and Eve were not created sinners, but because they went against God and sinned, we are born sinners. we all go back to Adam and eve and they sinned. for example: if your mom and dad taught you to hit eachother then you would think it's right. but it's not. Adam and Eve sinned and we came from Adam and Eve and once you sin, it's hard to stop. God sent Jesus Christ to die on the cross to save us from out sin. and it's hard to understand that such a mighty and powerful Prince would leave his Father and die for us. but God raised him from the dead and took Him to live with Him again. Jesus lived the perfect life. no one in this world can do what Jesus did.

I think you just can't live with the fact that you are a sinner. we are all sinners. That's why we need JESUS in our lives. Maybe you are just trying to blame your problems on someone else. that is wrong. God only does good. we do bad and we need Jesus to take away our sins.

God bless!

We are born sinners since our first ancestors, Adam and Eve, were sinners. The act of sinning is in our bloodline and makes us imperfect.

Fortunately for us, God is a loving, forgiving God. He watches over us and keeps us from harm. Yes, we do get hurt and disappointed, but all in His plan to form us into what He wants us to learn from that event.

He loves us so much that He forgives us of all sins as we "sincerely" repent to Him daily. By praying to Him for forgiveness, strength, wisdom and discernment, we can walk confidently into the world knowing that we are prepared for the challenges ahead and the hold the power to inspire others to walk "Into the Light".

No, sin was let in by Adam and Eve. This curse has traveled down to all men through the Fall. Sin is in us because of the Fall. All things that God created were good, and when he created man He said it was very good. We had a free will and we allowed the tempter to tempt us into sin, which is a stain that can only be removed by the very one who created us---Jesus Christ.

No. Being born a sinner is not Gods fault. Its our own. He made us perfect, we fell with the help of an angel. We were foolish and prideful and believed the lie because we wanted to "be like God."

So, no, we were made JUST FINE. The fault is our own.

PS We are NOT BORN WITH "ORIGINAL SIN" THERE IS NO SUCH THING. We are born IMPERFECT. This makes us susceptible to sin.

Okay...I'll hold your hand through this one.

Humanity was created perfect. God created the possibility for sin and man actualized that potentiality. Consequently, sin became a part of human nature. Yet, this is actually a good thing, since it provides the capacity for true love to exist, since without the choice to reject God (sin) it would render obeying God less meaningful.

Adam and Eve weren't "created" as sinners, they became sinners and put the punishment of them and their children.

THAT WAS THE MOST STUPID THING MOST RELIGIONS HAVE PUT INTO THE MIND OF THE INNOCENTS. GOD DID NOT DECLARE THAT ALL HAVE INHERITED THE SINS OF ADAM AND EVE. IT IS ONLY THE RELIGIONS THAT MADE IT UP TO FOR MANKIND TO START LIVING IN GUILT IN THE GUISE OF SHOWING HUMILITY TO GOD.
WE ARE ALL BORN DIVINE FROM THE BEGINNING. WE ONLY BEGIN TO SIN WHEN WE START REBELLING AGAINST HIS LAWS AND NO ONE IS ANSWERABLE FOR IT EXCEPT SINNERS HIMSELF NOT EVEN JESUS. HE CAME ONLY TO GUIDE US TO THE RIGHTEOUS THINGS. WE DO NOT INHERIT THE SINS OF OUR FATHER NEITHER OUR FATHER SHOULD BE HELD ANSWERABLE FOR OUR SINS. DEUTERONOMY 24:16 & EZEKIEL 18:3-26
A REASON WHY CHRISTIAN RELIGIONS DO NOT SO MUCH EMPHASIZE ALL THE TEACHINGS OF THE OLD TESTAMENT TO THE FULLEST BECAUSE YOU WILL COME TO REALIZE THE CONTRADICTION THEY MADE IN THE NEW TESTAMENTS.
