Ice plants?

Just kidding. If Santa has a temperature / humidity controlled environment that is conducive to the development and production of toys of all sorts of materials including fabric, wood, metal, and liquids of various of types as well as the survival of his elves and his poor wife, then he could probably grow anything he wants up there.

Now if his environmental control system is not that great or if he needs to do most of his gardening outdoors, he will probably be limited to tundra and a few species of lichen.

When I see him tomorrow night, I'll ask him. ;)

He must get very cold and snappy up there. Daffodils might cheer him up. Besides, I once heard that they symbolise patience. Perhaps he'd be kinder to his elves if he pottered among his daffodils every day?

Now you're stuck with the problem of WHERE to grow the daffodils.
