Now assuming that anyone should be in the pulpit, I have never heard a meaningful argument that women should not be priests. In fact the only argument I have ever heard is that Jesus did not pick any women as apostles therefore he would not want women priests. Well, there were no handicapped apostles, or for that matter it is highly unlikely that any of them had blue eyes or blond hair. Does this mean that these people should no be priests?
Ironically, I have heard good biblical arguments that there should not be an official priesthood at all.

I don't think they should, but not for the reasons you might think. Yes, women have the qualifications, yes the Holy Spirit has poured itself equally among men and women, and yes, women are just as important as men. But does that mean they should be pastors? I don't think so. A pastor's wife has a very special job to do; she picks up on details that the pastor might've overlooked and notice things he might not. They are a team; they work together. If a woman was to be a pastor, her husband would have to take on that responsibility. And what about their family? If the wife has all those responsibilities at the church, whose going to care for their children, and take care of the house? This is why I don't think women should be the main person in the pulpit.

Should women be in the pulpit? What a silly question. Certainly women should be in the pulpit.
Example - Women can vacuum the carpet in the pulpit. They can arrange the flowers in the pulpit. They can even check the pulpit microphone and adjust the volume control. There's plenty of times when women should be in the pulpit.

Bible says in 1 Timothy 3:10 If any man is reaching out for an office of overseer, he is desirous of a fine work. 2Â The overseer should therefore be irreprehensible, a husband of one wife, moderate in habits, sound in mind, orderly, hospitable, qualified to teach, 3Â not a drunken brawler, not a smiter, but reasonable, not belligerent, not a lover of money, 4Â a man presiding over his own household in a fine manner, having children in subjection with all seriousness; 5Â (if indeed any man does not know how to preside over his own household, how will he take care of God’s congregation?) 6Â not a newly converted man, for fear that he might get puffed up [with pride] and fall into the judgment passed upon the Devil. 7Â Moreover, he should also have a fine testimony from people on the outside, in order that he might not fall into reproach and a snare of the Devil.
1 Corinthians 11:3Â But I want YOU to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn the head of a woman is the man; in turn the head of the Christ is God.
--Women are subjects to men.

If they are bringing people to know Christ and helping people from depression and helping the needy and encourageing woman to have Faith in the Lord. I don't see why not they can't be in the pulpit. However, as a woman myself I rather have men Preaching in Baptist Churches. However, the rest of the churches is fine but Baptist churches is a whole nine yards of Preaching.

It never ceases to amaze me that so many WOMEN argue in favor of keeping women OUT of the pulpit, wives submitting to their husbands, etc.
With that having been said, women should be in the pulpit if they feel a desire to be there. There is no sin in practicing equality.

Not according to the Bible they shouldn't be.
1 Timothy 2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. (12) But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. (13) For Adam was first formed, then Eve. (14) And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. (35) And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

Well, the BIble said women are not supposed to be over (or teach) men in the church. Also, a preacher (and a deacon) is supposed to be the HUSBAND of one WIFE. So, unless a woman can be a husband and fulfill the rest of the qualifications,
NO.
