Depends on so many factors. My hair will grow 6 inches in about 4 1/2 - 5 months but my sisters hair will only grow about 3 inches in that time.
It depends on healthy you are overall.

well it all depends on your type of hair...
i have a friend who, in one year, could have her hair down to her butt
I have curly hair and ive probably cut it on average 4 inches in my entire life and it is barley up to my sholders..
all in all the rate of hair growth is VERY diverse for different people
