You are in a gray zone. It's hard to say. Toys are better bred closer to one and a half years or later and all others are best bred after 2 years.
Does she act like a puppy? Does she seem irresponsible? Is she inattentive?
My guess is that she will do fine and it is close enough to being a year old that she will do ok.
In case she is not a good mother yet, make sure you have puppy formula, puppy bottles and all the nursing/feeding supplies on hand. Newborns need to eat every 2 hours. Please speak with your vet also so you can learn to tube feed the puppies if necessary.
Then, if you decide to breed again, please do not breed her on her next heat. Wait until the one after that, about a year and 3 months from now.
Also, run out and get some books on whelping and how to care for newborn puppies and the mom. You will need them.
In the future, please do not allow your dogs to be bred so young. It's not good for them or the puppies. You are basically taking the nutrition your puppy needs to grow and be healthy and giving it to her growing puppies. She's not getting what she needs and that needs to be the priority.

She is young but most mother instinks still kick in. just watch her and she if lets them feed if she does then she'll be fine. a chilhauhua has 1 to 3 in a liter depending on size of the dog. I've had three chihauhuas in the past.

Hun, you are in for one helluva time. From what I've found, breeding chis is tough enough, but with your little one being so young, there is bound to be complications. How much does she weigh? Chis need to be over four pounds for safety's sake. Chis shouldn't be bred at their first heat. Second heat is better, third heat is ideal. That's about twice her age now. How big is the father? Big males make big pups and she will almost definately need a c-section, if she survives the pregnancy. If she was bred with any dog other than a Chi, you need to get her to the vet ASAP. If you allow her to continue the pregnancy, it could very well kill her. You need to know that gestation only lasts 63 days, so time is short. You need to get her to the vet, have her X-rayed to check the size and number of pups, and to see if her hips are wide enough to pass the pups. Be prepared for a huge vet bill. And (this can go without being said) once this is past, get her spayed. Period. Good luck to you and your little girl. God Bless

Usually when a dog has puppies for the first time, no matter what the age, they don't know how to take care of them perfectly. Most chihuahuas only have 2-4 puppies in a single litter.

I'll spare you the lectures on how irresponsible it was for you to let her get pregnant at such a young age and just focus on the problem. There could be serious complications with a dog that young having puppies, so she needs to be closely monitored, especially while giving birth. If you don't have a vet, I suggest you get one VERY soon and take her in as soon as she shows signs of labor.

Why is she pregnant!? she is waayy too young. I'd suggest taking her to a vet and have them monitor on a regular basis and maybe have her puppies there since she is still a baby herself.
Geesh....puppies having puppies
Good Luck with everything! Hope all goes well!!!

she is young, but not too young to have puppies. just keep an eye on her and see how she does with her whelps. sometimes, especially when they're young mommies, they have a little trouble knowing how to take care of them.
my friend's chihuahua just had her first litter a couple weeks ago--there were 2 in that litter.

First of all, shame on you for being an irrisponsible pet owner! It's people like you who we can blame for the overpopulation of unwanted pets being euthanized daily!
Second of all, take her to the vet and have her checked out. There's no way anyone online can help you with this. Moron!

She may not make it past 11 months. You need to take her to a Vet and let the Vet handle her care. I can't imagine you letting a young puppy get pregnant.
