The supposed unbelievers are not baptised. Almost all religions have some sized part of their membership who look down their long noses at the poor infidels in the other religions. Easier to manipulate the sheep when they have that kind of character flaw.

Also in that time period and before, the Muslims were the most advanced people in the world. They conquered up into and held Spain and a huge portion of Africa, the Mid-East and Med. At Cordoba there was a university that the Christian nation elite sent their children to because the pope had outlawed education, science, hygeine etc., you know, the dark ages. You could leave your bag on the well lit and drained street and pick it up where you left it three weeks later. They had running water, sewers, high literacy, scientific, legal and cultural advancements that we now stand on the shoulders of. Surprise. When people recognize that all the religions are one and the people are one as well we can get on with life here on earth.

"Unwashed" and "Uncleaned" is not in the physical context that you're referrering to but the spiritual context of being spirtually cleansed. To be this, you have to be baptized. I'm not going to go into lengthy details because it's too long, but before you ask an question like this you should approach it from multiple angles rather than a narrow minded point of view.

Why do christians call unbelievers unwashed and unclean when they are the ones that didnt take baths in the 13.

True Christians do NOT use those terms.

It is the moon worshippers who do a HOLY WASH at prayer to their moon god.
They call all who are not moon god worshippers INFIDELS.

Being unclean spiritually is different than needing a bath because a person got dirty.

Wash your soul and clean you mind. Whatever happened to the Tidy Bowl Man anyway. Any of you old-timers remember the Tidy Bowl Man?

You question really stinks. They weren't speaking of the outside body, but rather the unseen spiritual body.
