I HATE it when people do that!!! THAT'S IRRITATING!!!!!!!!!! I know it's ridiculous, but that's one of my pet peeves. Why? I don't know (other than that they don't have any consideration for other people). I guess it's just in my nature!

I'm with you. Very irritating. I have a plan when I go shopping and it doesn't entail looking at every gosh darn thing.

Maybe they aren't in a hurry. Maybe they left enough time to relax and go slow. Maybe they are just killing time.
My pet peeve is people who wander slowly down the middle of the lanes in a parking lot. Hello! Walk on the side so I can drive. It drives me nuts because it is a driving area. In a walking area, I just go around. I may be in a hurry to get done, but they obviously aren't. People always complain that I walk too fast.

Perhaps you walk fast? I come to realize that when I am out in public walking that I walk at my pace and the world must adjust to that instead of the other way around, the reason is not that I want to be rude, and by nature I am not slow, but it is not my mission to have to duck and cover and weave for everyone else, hope that is a good answer for you.

I agree! It's one thing if they are elderly or injured, or appear to be sad about something, but most of the time, it's people walking with their friends laughing and cackling, hooting and hollering and walking together in a big horizontal line where you can't really pass them. It drives me NUTS! *shakes fist* I think they just don't care and it makes them feel important that they can do whatever they want and if others don't like it, too bad.

People tend to walk like the drive.
But to me, people who walk slow are easier to get around than people who drive 35 in a 55 and dont pull the hell over.

omg m too especially at the mall. what i do is if theres a slow person infront of me i just walk past them (really fast) and look them in the eye and keep walking. lol try it.
