+ I don't think you can get the VA or GI-Bill ones but there are a lot more available to the "Military Community" than just those. See the link below and you may find that the grants and funds available are seemingly endless. You do need to take the time to apply.

As your father being a veteran he can enjoy the benifits from va and shopping at the px and commissary.As a child you will have the privelage of shopping and take advantage of many things on base untill you are 18 years of age.Sorry but after you turn 18 all these things are void.There is one thing you can still have as a child of a veteran and this is USAA.Check in on this.You can get auto insurance and banking.It is probably the only benifit you can still enjoy as an adult

Veterans educational benefits apply to the veteran only so you are not eligible. That was the case in the 70's during my enlistment anyways unless changes have been made of which I am not aware. After 10 years the veteran theirself loses this benefit.

their are educational va benefits for children, like the mgib, for veteran who applied for the program. But you have to be their dependent. Now, your an independent so you won't qualify

My husband was retired army and passed away at 43 from agent orange related cancer..Our children were able to use VA for college. it had to be a State college and they could use it up to 28 years of age. I don't think you qualify.

nope only for the Vet. they were and might still be working on getting it so if a vet gets killed in action it is passed to the spouse and or children but dont think that has been passed yet.

Someyimes kids can get benefits, but mostly only we vets can.. Used mine, glad to have had them.
But, alas you are married, so no!
