Theyre little curly strays. I've tried putting hair spray on them, putting gel on them and patting them down. That only works sometimes. They're stubborn, so sometimes all I get is little strays popping out that are stiff, but not patted down. I've thought about cutting them, but they'll grow back. I just want an inexpensive cure that I can use. I just don't like them jumping out; it doesn't look nice on me. I already have hair woes, as I'm not the best one to ask advice on about appearance, and am trying to do my best to look my best on my own...because it gets more imperative as I get older. Please honest answes and help. Thanks A LOT!

A product called Let's Jam found in the ethnic aisle works great. Otherwise try some oils or pomades instead of gels. Let's Jam is kind of a cross between an oil and a gel (more of a gel, but it doesn't leave your hair dry)....
Also you can use beeswax or dreadwax, but you know, that's probably overkill for your hair.

I've found that about the only way to get thest to stay put is to kind of weve them under the longer strands of hair when I pull my hair back. Otherwise, they just all stand out and look like they're going to take flight.

That happens to me too! It's really irritating, I agree. I always pull them out, but the ones near sensitive spots I can't pull, so I either cut them or use one of those razors on the infomercials that are gentle enough to rub on a balloon, but tough enough to get rid of hair in different places. those are your baby hairs, so annoying! they never grow, just stay short and bothersome. try bangs, they'll cover up the little hairs super easily. you can cut, wax, or shave them, but you'll have to keep doing it, you know? i would suggest trying the bang thing.

Hi there is this inexpensive stuff you should use...it is called frizz-ease there is a shampoo conditioner and a frizz serum....get whatever thing you want from that company use it!
