I think you should contact an immigration lawyer and ask him to help you with getting an immigration hearing.

In the meantime, keep your nose clean and stay out of trouble. If you get arrested for any deportable crime (Any felony, Domestic violence, any drug charge, any kind of human or drug smuggling charge, or any CIMT-Crime Involving Moral Turpitude) you will not be able to become legal, and you will be sent back to whatever country you came from, no matter what your sob story may be.

I live near the Mexican border, and I have met several mexicans who don't even speak spanish, but were deported to Mexico after getting arrested, and their true citizenship was discovered. They had been smuggled to the US as children by their parents, who also live here illegally, and all of their extended family either died or their wherabouts are unkown. But they screwed up, got caught, and now they have no life, and no chance at being here legally, not even if they someday grant an amnesty. They won't qualify for any amnesty because they have been found inadmissable and were deported.

Stay out of gangs, stay off of drugs, live a clean life, and don't hang out with dirtbags. If you don't follow this advice, you will hate yourself for it later.

Now go find an attorney, before we find you.

Speak "good English"??

So you mean that you are well spoken in the English language?

You need to find a way to become legal or go to your homeland. I don't think that there is a statute of limitation for breaking immigration laws.

Sounds like you are in a bit of a pickle. It would seem to me that if you honestly wanted to become a citizen of this country and assimilate into our society, you would have not waited for 18 years to do something about it. You appear to be no different than any other illegal immigrant who wants to come to this country and not abide by the laws nor do you want to become part of it.

Nice that you received your free education...

I think that you should keep a very low profile (and investigate how to get legal as soon as possible) because there are a bunch of extremely angry people there who are ready to ship you out to wherever in a second.
Everyone in the United States -- except for the Native Americans -- was an immigrant at some point in their family tree, some much more recently than others.
Get your papers in order before the caca really hits the fan in America. I do think that time is close at hand!

Most of the people here are out of touch with the political situation. If he was given the chance to become a citizen he would have done so already. Leaving would not be an option either since he would be more out of place where he came from. Try returning penguins from the zoo to the Antartic.

No offense, but check your spelling. You are sending the wrong message when you say: "I went to school here and speak good English." Do you?
My advise is that if you want to be accepted never stop making continuous progress and you never know you may find an sponsor. Good Luck!

For starters I see about 10 things grammatically wrong with your sentence..If you were educated in the US, you should know how to capitalize, use punctuation and use PROPER English..I also think you should know you are not fooling anybody..So stop trying to act like illegal immigrants follow the law and are so educated and perfect because you just proved the fact that they aren't..

How did you manage to graduate from High School? You need to improve on you English & on your spelling. Also apply for a green card, why do you want to be illegal, you can't get anywhere that way.

I think you'd better get your butt down to the INS offices and turn yourself in. Make yourself legal and we'll all think a lot more of you. Until then, you're a free-loading pariah who should be deported. After 18 years, you should have sense enough to make your stay here legal. Or are you still loyal to Mexico or wherever you came from?
