"Brainwash" is a subjective term. It implies someone successfully changing someones belief system to one that is perceptibly undesirable for that person. Christians possess human frailty just like everyone else and thus could be convinced to commit sin under the wrong pretense. This is why Christians pray for protection from evil influence and try to live by strict moral teaching. when a christian commits a sin such as the one you have suggested, he is not cast down but forgiven by a loving father. He is forgiven not because he deserves it but because he has accepted Christ as his savior.

Unfortunately yes. There are four types of violent perpetrators...of one which is the "true believer". This can mean a belief in anything or a strong enough motivation to protect these beliefs. Although it is not what this person would strive for, we are all human, and if threatened: it is very possible. You should look into true believers in a prejiduce/hate/violence book or resource; I bet you would be fascinated!

Actually yes. Some rural Pentecostal Services have people slapping the "non saved" and calling them to repentance while others are speaking in tongues . . . also known people to run across the back of pews, down the street and back, dance, roll in the floor, etc. All this has been down in a frenzied crowd being "bathed" with the Spirit and in the name of Christ.

that is somewhat somewhat uncomplicated. Jews who settle for that Jesus is the Messiah, are Messianic Jews. You men are constantly attempting to cloud the difficulty. Edit to lightless. LOL! at your Hitler utility to my assertion. You pronounced that no longer I. And FYI, there at the instant are not any race's' basically the human race. human beings could properly be defined via cultures. give up being so racist.

you know... you can't remove the humanity out of a person because they have a system of beliefs and values. We all fail them. You are actually helping us. I mean, my first response is to ask you to give me your address so that I may personally respond with a right hook and a few kicks. But, I see what I am thinking, and I bow down in humiliation....God is great, I am unworthy. So..... where do ya live?

Anyone who takes any teachings to its extreme can harm oneself or others in the name of their religion.
I believe Christians should consolidate all the teachings of the Bible in order to become responsible citizens of society and the kingdom of God.
Merry Christmas

The Mediaeval and Spanish Inquisitions show us they can do much more than "punch(ing)."
It's just historical record - I am NOT Christian bashing here.
