Everytime my friend and I walk past a group of guys, she says they were checking me out. . She says it a lot after gymnastics practice when we walk past them on our way to the locker room. Sometimes they say things to each other and one guy even said to his friend"she would never look at you".
Is she lying??
Why do guys turn away and then turn to their friends and be like she didn't like you when you look at one of them and not the other?? My friend and I just laugh when they do this. My friend says that if a lot of guys check you out everyday it means you are hot. I don't think I am but she says I am.Does it??
Is it normal for someone to not think they are hot but everyone around them thinks they are??

For some crazy reason, most really hot girls do not think they are attractive. So, if your friends say you're hot, and if you see guys checking you out all the time, you're probably really hot, even though you don't think you are.

it's called humility, and your friend, that's called jealousy. it doesn't really mean a lot for a bunch of guys to check you out because guys check everyone out, so your friends perception there may or may not be true, it all depends on the guys. you still have to look to figure out if you want to keep looking to find out more. how long does the eye contact last? does the checking out lead to anything more? can they talk to you without avoiding looking directly at you?
don't let your friend pump you up though; not knowing that you're hot, and keeping a low profile about it, is a lot smarter than flaunting it. then it isn't fun for the guys anymore, which sours things for you in the long run.
