Since this is Cream Cheese its better to place this inside the freezer not in the chiller beacause that might spoil anytime. either put inside the plastic or in foil before placing it inside the freezer.

Try freezing it in a ziploc for freezers. Thaw until soft when ready to use.

You can freeze this. My mom does it quite often. Just thaw when ready to use and stir it well.

In a tight reclosable container. Make sure it is air tight.

To my know ledge the fridge would be the best place. or someplace pretty cold so it doesent decompose and bacteria infest it.
