First of all, women are allowed to vote because most of us are pretty damn smart if you will just take the time to listen to us.
You wouldn't be here if it werent for a woman so keep that in mind.
I challenge you to give me 3 logical reasons why women shouldn't be allowed to vote. We live in this country so we should have a say in who is in power.
Oh yeah, and why don't you ask some women you are friends with or some women you work with "why are women allowed to vote?" See what kind of response you get from them...ha.

If you look at American History, you will see that women in the western frontier states had the vote and held political offices long before the women's "Right to Vote" demonstrations east of the Mississippi river.
This was because the men were busy with the ranch and farm work to take care of the community business and some women were the sheriffs too.

This kind of question says a lot about you.
Assuming you are serious.....and that is a big assumption.....you are either very young or very stupid.
Now I am not calling young people stupid just inexperienced. But if you are not inexperienced then you are just dumb.
What is most interesting is how you can tie electing President Lincoln in to this. And who is this "we" you refer too?
When you reach voting age your opinion may be of more value. But for now go back and hit those books and be sure to include a lot of history. Boy do you need it.

Ha! Lincoln was chosen by the Republican Party because he was thought to be a moderate. That's why he was elected, not because men have some special moral compass that made them choose the right person once over the span of 146 years. You wish, buddy!
And women are allowed to vote precisely because nimrods like you ask questions like that.

Women are allowed to vote because they wanted to. Do you really think that with or without voting that women don't have the last say? Rethink reality, son. In the first place, voting is just a method women let men think they are in control.

Women are considering citizens in the United States. And any citizen over 18 has the right to vote.
I don't agree or disagree with this just stating the fact.

i appreciate your opinion but unfortunately nothing will be done to change. does it matter anyway? most of the politicans in power are men and you want to credit that toward women? I think the problem you have with women voting is not political but rather mental...would you like to talk about it?
