In actions yes, but, also in your answers. How do you answer them? Respectfully? Truthfully? If you are like most children, the parents won't let you DO anything so you can prove your responsible. So your left with one option. Your answers! Yes there are things you can do around the house that will give them a glimmer of hope that you are responsible, wash the dishes, clean your room, keep up with the laundry, yada, yada, yada, blah, blah, blah! However, unless they are sitting there watching you, it will go unnoticed. Your answers though, that is always with them, always noticed.

Your actions will show that you are responsible and that they should trust by following the rules and etc they have set for you. Once you have that trust, when something major comes along that you want to do or etc. The building block of trust will already be there and they will be more likely to go along with an idea if they know that in the past you have been responsible and trustworthy. If you have not then give it time, and show that how you have changed. Always try to do what you say you are going to do and they will see it.
