Where can I put a tattoo? I don't want it in a trampy place, and I want to be able to hide it.?

Trampy places include: Near breasts, small of back, hip bone, arms...

It's a sentimental tattoo. I want it for my own reasons, please don't urge against it. Thanks.

Job requires it to be covered up, come on be realistic!

try putting it kinda on you hip not on the bone but on the side like if you were wearing a tying string bikini put it where the tie would be

Let me just say, I've been seeing a lot of suggestions for ankles, chest, backs, etc..... let me just say.... the less fat + more boney area = MORE PAIN. If this is your first tattoo, lets face it, you want the least pain possible.

The best thing I can tell you is that you need to decide. I'm not sure what type of clothing you generally wear.... so maybe an ankle tattoo would not be a wise choice because you;d like to wear a skirt to work someday. And one on your back may not be a good choice either, because maybe you like keyhold back shirts.

My best idea is your upper thigh on the side. It's a fatty area, which reduces the pain factor, and it'll always be hidden at work.... unless you're a stripper or wear obscenely short skirts.

Well you can put a tatoo ANYWHERE on your body you want. And when I mean anywhere - just do a general search on the internet for places on the body you can tattoo and I'm sure you will be surprised (or horrified depending on how you are). So, pick a place people don't usually see (clothed) that YOU don't consider trampy and if there is skin there (or skin like) get your tattoo there - enjoy!

I know several people have said this, but you should put it on your upper back around the shoulder blade. My friend has a tatoo there and I notice for a long time until she showed it to me. It looks really nice. That way if you ever do decide to show it, wear a backless shirt or thin strapped tank. Otherwise the only way someone will see it is if they see you naked! :) Good luck, I am looking into my first tat as well.

First small of back is not trampy. Second I worked military police and am now a deputy, and all four of my tattoos are covered when in uniform. I have one on my shoulder blade, small of back and one on each hip. Nobody even knows about them unless they happen to see me in a bathing suit.

on your leg and then if you want to show it you can and it is easy to keep covered up. personally i dont think that the small of your back is a trampy place to get a tattoo. I have one there and everyone loves it

well Taylor S my question is why do you want to get a tattoo when you are going to hide it. If that is what you are going to do then why waist your monkey for something that you are supposed to show the whole world the beauty of the tattoo?? Oh and FYI heads up. If you get the tattoo don't put it on your arm because you may beable to hide it during winter but when summer comes... (Good Luck)

so you want to hide it? Well the only place that I can think of since you do not want in in trampy places would be on your side, either nearer to your hips or underneath where your bra straps around. I have met people with tatoos on their side and have been able to hide it effectively. I cannot think of any other place. Good Luck!!

I have one on my right shoulderblade. I wanted it on my right shoulder blade and the artist that did it put it lower down than where I showed him and he said he put it where he did so I could hide it when I wear a formal dress. Talk to the person who is going to do it and tell them you want to be able to hide your tattoo. They should know where a good place to put it is. Put it wherever you feel comfortable getting it.

how about your ankle,out side of the leg,or on your shoulder blade, there always nice and can be hidden,but if you are having a tattoo! half of getting one is to show it off! if your not going to show it why get one in the first place?
