What do you call a single M&M, like when you have two their M&M, but when you have one is it just an M?

Each one is an M & M. On each individual piece it has M&M printed on it.If you have two it would be M&M's.

Ok, when you have more than 1 M&M they are called "M&M's.
If you have only 1 M&M it is referred to as an "M&M.

If you are talking about the chocolate M&M's, then one is an M&M and two or more would be plural which would be M&M's.
