Right now, I owe $17,000 US in College loans. Is that a lot, or do people have more than that. Is it not that bad. Can anyone relate.

I currently have over $50,000 in college loans. I have about $30,000 from my associates at a private college and my bachelors at a large univeristy. Now I'm accumulating more for my masters!

I owe $17,129.00 on one and $1500 on another. It is ridiculous! I find it a hardship sometimes and do not know if it was even worth it! The amount of interest on this loan should be illegal. My payments barely effect my principal balance. And they talk about credit card debt in the U.S. This is atrocious!

I never had to take out a loan - I attended college at the school my father taught at so I was able to go tuition free!!!
