Prostitution is everywhere. If you want sex, you can find it on the internet, the yellow pages (and even on the streets) in one hour or less. So who really believes prostitution is illegal? Sure, technically it's illegal, but who is enforcing the law?

Just because you can find it, does not make it legal. Look at weed. You can buy that ANYWHERE.............

Using your logic speeding isn't illegal either. I mean lots of people do it, but only some people get caught. More importantly, where in the U.S. are you talking about? In Nevada prostitution IS legal, as long as it meets the state's requirements. Ever heard of the Bunny Ranch? It's the world's "oldest profession", so to think it's suddenly going to disappear is a pipe dream. Whether it should be legalized is a good question however. Many very conservative types say that answer is no, but last time I checked church and state were supposed to be separate. There are good arguments that legalization would decrease a lot of the social crimes that surround the "illegal" business of it.

Prostitution is unlawful because of the fact of non secular motives. And criminal ones. as long as there is funds to be made off a woman's physique there will be a guy there to take that funds, and he would not desire to be displaced via some place of work of Prostitution with rules and rules some lady protecting her very own funds. The pimp could ought to get an afternoon interest. There are additionally various payoffs to politicians and cops, and its the two events, that provides no one the desire to renounce the funds with clever regulations that should guard those women persons. Your argument falls aside at 'no one is victimized or harmed', various women persons are the two victimized and harmed. in certainty its between the justifications i could desire to verify prostitution criminal and controlled. every time I see a serial murderer who's conscious that killing a working lady can't get any interest i believe for the girl and her kin. most of the ladies persons you spot are not quite consenting, the two they are addicted or overwhelmed into submission, or psychologically broken and want counseling no longer being screwed via numerous companions. some are lots youthful than you will think of too. Its a grimy business corporation, and that i do no longer in straightforward terms propose germs or morals, legalizing it may help those in touch, via the whole ingredient of this is to grant adult adult males what they want, funds, and skill over women persons. i'm no longer constantly constructive if those interior the business corporation are particularly interested in intercourse.

It is illegal, but at the same time it is a hard law to enforce. If you want to engage in it go for it, but be prepared for the consequences either from law enforcement or the safety of your own health

You can find pretty much any drug or hire a killer as well. That doesn't make it legal, though.

Plenty of police departments are enforcing the law. So are some private citizens, in their own way. Have a look here: http://www.johntv.com/

every now and then you hear about a "sting" operation to catch "johns" who are looking for a "good time". the main reason prostitution is illegal is because the religious right just can't stand someone having a good that they can't control.
