If You would read Genesis,The creation story with a open mind
really read the words. God filled the earth with males and females long before He created Adam.

what is the real question? The land of Nod is only reffered to once in Genesis 4:16. Nod means "vagrancy" according to Strongs concordance.
This is where Cain went after he was sent from the presence of the Lord after he killed Abel. It may not have been so much of a land but a state of wandering.

Genesis 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

"Nod" meas vagrancy. Here's what John Gill says about it in his commentary.

and dwelt in the land of Nod;
so called, not before he went there, but from his wandering up and down in it; continuing in no one place in it, as well as his mind was restless and uneasy; Jarchi mentions another reason of its name, that in every place where he went the earth shook under him, and men said, Depart from him, this is he that slew his brother:

___________

Apparently quite some time after Cain left Eden descendants of Adam and Eve moved into this area and Cain took one of them for his wife.

Genesis 4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

You need to read your Bible more closely and not depend on others to translate it for you. If you read closely you will see that God made man (mankind) in his own image on the sixth day.

On the seventh day God rested.

Then He made Adam.

The people that dwelt in the land of Nod (wandering) were made on the sixth day.

i disagree with gwhz1052 as the Bible clearly says that Eve is the mother of all living. Adam and Eve had many sons and daughters.

If Adam and Eve had many sons and daughters, then, uh, what did those sons and daughters do to create more people, if you know what I mean?
