You can love a lot of people in your life... Friends, family, pets, ect. Being in love is just something so different. So yes, if he is starting to "fall in love" with you, then this is a good thing. Most people don't understand the difference, until they really feel it for the first time.
I've been married to my husband for 5 years now. When I first told him I was in love with him, he told me that he felt a lot for me although was not in love with me. I was sooo hurt, although now I understand. Cause it wasn't long after that, he did fall in love with me. He later told me that he wasn't going to say it until or if he really felt it.
Be happy that he is not one of those sweet talkers, that just say what they think will make you happy. Not the truth of how they really feel.
Good luck to you sweetie, true love is hard to find. So, if you feel something special, hold on to it.
:)

Is that ever a difficult question. Every man has his own interpretation of what love is . It depends on his age his maturity and his life experience. If he is beginning to fall in love with you and is a very nice guy. he is just trying to say he has very strong feelings for you and hopes the relationship is going to go further. Some guys will say this to see where you are at in the relationship and how you feel about him. If he is an *** he is trying to figure out when the best time to make the moves on you is. My suggestion (being a man myselkf) is talk to him if he is nice and the relkationship is worth it it will all be good

Generally, it means that the feelings are there, but he is cautious about actually coming right out and saying that. Soemtimes the feelings come before the mental conviction. It's not enough to "feel" in love with someone. You sometimes need to get to know them better in order to know if it's just infatuation, or if it's something that will last long-term.

Guys generally mean what they say (we don't talk in riddles like girls do) So just listen to what he said - if he told you he's starting to fall in love with you, that means HE'S STARTING TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU! and yes, that means he loves you.

I think it's the fact that he is seeing deeper into you and loving what he sees. And it's pulling him in. He's finding that what he sees is making him feel more connected with you. You're capturing his heart with your qualities. It makes him feel happier, in heaven being around you. Who would want to give that up. He's falling in love.

No. All he said was "I'm STARTING to fall in love with you." Either you are or your not. Don't be so gullible. Do you believe everything you hear.

That means you ignited the fire but it's not really a flame yet. If he truly loves you, then the fire will be deep burning and hard to put out.

no it means that right now he is infatuated, which is a really strong crush where you think that you love someone, but your just smitten by them at this point. love is a very strong feeling, and that term shouldnt be taken so lightly, but it is.
