you should base the name on the personality of the dog or how it looks just dont pick a name take a while to get to know the dog

The way most people name their dogs is by the characteristics or habbits of the dog. For instance, when I adopted mine as a puppy, he would not let my son get more than a couple of feet away from him, he follewed everywhere my son went... named him shadow (he's a dark color too).
