You'd be on the set of coronation highway! In theory i assume if no longer something ever happend,there could have been no vast Bang which might propose that circumstances for existence does no longer have been created!! In physics isn't there a regulation that states each action HAS AN equivalent AND OPPOSITTE reaction?? as a result if there became no preliminary action,evoloution does no longer exist.... Cool! Existential questions:)

well if they are meant to be and that person happens to be the one, then absolutely, who cares about the ex, they come and go. why pass up a potentially wonderful relationship because of past hangups with an ex, thats ridiculous.

there is nothing wrong in this as long as you break it off with the first one first,if you don't there will be a conflict of interest going on and you would be considered a cheater. fortunately I have not had this happen to me but I have seen it done before.
