Adam and Eve came 1st.
About the people in Nod: "the Bible does not specifically mention the birth of daughters. However, we are told regarding Adam, "…and he begot sons and daughters" (Gen. 5: 4). It is important to realize that the Bible does not really say when Cain found his wife from land of Nod(Gen. 4: 16, 17). The Bible does not say, either, that Cain married his sister, but such a conclusion appears necessary."

Think about this: God made Adam and Eve as the first humans. After that, it's very possible that He could have created others and placed them in other parts of the world.....as in the land of Nod, Africa, ect. There is so little information about the ancient times because records weren't exactly kept. Hope this helps. Best of luck to you.

Adam & Eve came first, In the land of Nod we are looking at a time span from Adam & Eve & I have to believe that Adam & Eve had to have some daughters along the way, Also we have to look at the serpent, That was in the garden, he was an upright creature, & he had a helpmate, some things is not recorded in the bible,

The Genetics say a male can come out of a female but not the vice versa. How would this verify the statement that Eve was carved out of a Male's ribs. It is a better truth that first, He created a unicellural life. Out of that a 'pair' was created. From that pair of Adam and Eve all the nations were born in due course, biologically mating. Miracle an exception. Even that Miracle 'may' have been due to a cause and effect, not yet discovered, and not possible by humans to duplicate in labs !

The people from the land of Nod had a hard time staying awake.
This used to annoy Adam a great deal. One time Adam and a guy from Nod, name of Winker, were sitting at the kitchen table having a discussion about the talking snake. Winker fell asleep every time Adam was saying something really important. Adam got so upset he totally lost his train of thought.

Yes, Nod was actually created by the God that created our God. As you know, God didn't just happened, he was created.

And the Lord said unto him [Cain], Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
-- Genesis 4: 15-16

Remember though it's only a story - so it doesn't have to be that accurate.

There is only one true God and he is the light and the darkness. In his creation of the human species, Adam came first of course, and who's to say the Lord, being all that he is, cannot have changed his image from his former image, and that we can't do the same. Sometimes we do it unintentionally and sometimes we follow God's layed path.

You need to read your Bible more closely and not depend on others to translate it for you. If you read closely you will see that God made man (mankind) in his own image on the sixth day.

On the seventh day God rested.

Then He made Adam.

Adam's line of descendants were His favorite people and the Bible revolves around them, but they were not the only ones around.
