There would be no need to demand to sail on a ship. HM the Queen as Lord High Admiral of the Royal Navy can sail on any of HM Ships as she wants.
Her staff would arrange the visit and the ship would be pulled off whatever task it was doing to accomodate the visit.

The Queen no doubt could 'demand' but protocol and courtesy would be the usual route to her having access to Royal Navy vessels or any other military establishment.

The ships belong to the State and the Queen being the head of state would arrange for access using those protocols.

although the ships pf the navy have the HMS prefix it does not mean she owns them, they belong to the state and are adminstored by the elected people of the state i.e. the government, the queen can request access to a ship as the honourary comander in chief of the armed forces but she or any other member of the royal family ahs automatic access. The process would be to ask the secretary of defence for access and he would approve / decline on the advice of senoir naval staff

Well I'm pretty sure the Queen would make a request. No demand would be necessary. Why would she want to sail on an uncomfortable crowded ship when she has a totally exquisite yacht to sail around on. The Queen also is very cognoscente of duty and that her being aboard may impede duty.

No she can not demand to board any naval ship. No one is permitted to board a ship of the fleet without the permission of captain, in the case of the queen she would be accompanied by an admiral

Yes but she knows most of her ships are abroad doing what they do best so she will have to wait for her turn to have a ride on a RN ship...lol.

Yes. Don't think that any Admiral or Ship's Captain would be likely to refuse!

I think she probably could - anyone serving our country in the Navy is unlikely to refuse to let her on are they?
