I have heard all the stories and nicknames but there must be some reason for this. I don't believe that there is any special ingridients but Stella is a very distinctive drink.

its called wife beater where i live but i enjoy stella ocassionaly and it has absolutely no effect on me.doesnt even get me drunk.

It has no different effect then other types of alcohol, it's all down to your temperment, however a really successful advertising campaign has told the gullible that stella is reassuringly expensive, those people with an attitude the supposed alpha male, uggg aint I hard tend to drink stella as a status symbol, as it's those idiots that start fights cos "you were looking at me in a funny way" etc it's given stella that rep, drink what you like but drink sensibly if you're a wanker alcohol is gonna make you more of one. Try it adopt a **** get him/her drunk on babysham, the outcome will be the same.

It's all down to your age and maturity.
I regularly drink stella, 7 - 8 pints in an evening down the pub.
I never leave drunk or attack the wife when I get home.
I'm in my 40's by the way, not some kid who can't handle the booze!!

Stella is some cheap @$$ junk sold to Americans becuse we are stupid. Yes we are. We have allowed crap beer's like bud and coors crap to control our beer markets and prevent good beer from making there way into our main stream. It is only in todays markets that other beers are allowed to come into play. Now I not knocking all the american beer. Emmm Shinner!!

It's no more full of carbon dioxide and chemicals than any other British apology for lager - it's just that it's stronger. So if you pour it down your neck, pint after pint, you get pis*ed. Before you fall over and go to sleep/throw up, you are liable to get in to a fight or indulge in some other chav-like activity.

Trust me on this one Stella/ The wife beater, gets you drunk quicker and gives you much worse hangovers!!!! FACT!!!!!!
