Before you go persecuting me for my response, consider this: Santa provides nothing but joy in the form of gifts to his beleivers - Jesus and God give misery and suffering in hopes of testing your faith. And, when you screw up in God's eyes, youre damned for eternity - but Santa gives everyone a chance to redeem themselves on a yearly basis.

Santa deserves more worship....

Santa does have an evil counterpart actually 2. There is Sir Santa of Claws an apelike creature making toys out of dinobone and his own waste. Then there is Clowny the Jester who comes into people's bedrooms each Chrismas Eve and hacks them into tiny bits after Santa leaves. Beware of them both.
