some people choose names because they lived in the city, e.g boston, sometimes names are of some kind of family idea or enmotional attachment. my siuster is called elanor which is from my dads favourite book. i know someone who has 3 children named after the midwife! names can also be thought of, just made up, they could be from stars names or celebrities or anything really. try getting stuck with a bad nut like Flo, yup dats an annoying name....
anyway, hope i helped you out!

Yeah - I find etymology quite fascinating.

Your name is found in Ancient Roman, English, Italian, Spanish, Hungarian, Romanian and is the feminine form of Felix. Felix is what is known as a "cognomen" (which is kind of like a nickname or an epithet - like "Rufus" means red-headed) for lucky.

The attached link takes you to a whole dictionary of name meanings.
