An excellent question. If our american cousins could help us to have nice teeth, we could reciprocate by teaching them to speak english, telling them about the rest of the world, introducing them to morals, and explaining notions like taste, style and dignity.
Happy christmas everyone!
Oh and by the way...God is not an american invention.

I'd bet the thumbs down are coming from Brits who take offense at your question suggesting that they don't have good teeth.
I'm not sure if the rumors are true or not, but there certainly is a perception that the NHS does its best to avoid treatment of dentla problems while the US standard is _usually_ towards saving teeth instead of just yanking them out.
Certainly, we are not born with any better teeth than the British. Maybe there is more emphasis on home preventive care here, as well.

I've lived on both sides of the pond, and it's been my experience that in most cases Brit teeth are no worse than US ones, as long as they have followed the usual brushing, flossing and dental check-up routines.
What Americans have is *prettier* teeth, which is not the same thing as better teeth. Far higher numbers of American teenagers (and adults) have orthodontic work done - the schools are filled with teens wearing braces and retainers, and have been so for decades. Whitening, veneers and other forms of cosmetic dentistry are nearly as routine as getting nice haircut.
The American smile, to which all teens seem to aspire over there, is an artificial construct. Anyone can have one - simply make yourself an appointment with a good cosmetic dentist and you too can have American teeth.
Small but increasing numbers of Brits are following the trend these days. It all depends on what you want to spend your hard-earned cash on.

Some American are too obsessive with whiteners. wait, someday they will realize the enamel has eroded and they will be sorry. It is a money maker and a fad right now. Let mother nature take care of the color of your teeth. that is her job.
It is the words and kindness that comes out of the mouth that counts and some people need to learn that.

Hi I am British and my teeth are good, however my dentist has gone private and I cant find another NHS one. It is a disgrace as the government promise health care in all aspects under the NHS and duly take taxes from our wages for the service. They have let the people down and I am thinking now of going to Poland for checks in future.

I will tell you most Americans are not born with a beautiful smile but about 80% get braces when they are in or about 8th grade. There are a few that can not afford them as kids and get them when they are adults. And of course there are those that never get them and a few that were born with that great smile

I've never heard that one. I suppose everyone in whatever country would have good teeth as long as they brushed them and had good water.
