Absolutely!!! I'm dumbfounded! LOL, I don't even know what to say now! Why would she say that!?! It doesn't even make sense. Does Jr care more about being a celebrity or a driver?! For him they've just ALWAYS gone hand in hand. He's the son of one of THE greatest all time racers. He has the power to affect change, and he's using that power. She's a senile old bat that needs to just throw up her hands because apparently she's not doing a damn thing for her company or the sport. Just live on big E's $$$ and pissin off the family by the looks of it. *rolls eyes at the money grubber* Well, I think Jr. rocks and I think he takes his driving seriously and I think it is super important to him, but I also think he takes being a super celeb seriously too. I mean it's a job like anything else, right? Look at everything he HAS to do, or chooses to do for his fans. She's a bat and needs to go on some meds for her apparent bouts with menopause.
***You know there could be a chance of him leaving because I was reading a few months ago and his contract with Bud is up in 2007 anyways...Jr's 34-years-old...he's been racing on the busch/nextel circuits since, what, like 19...and as good as his pit crews have been he's never won the nextel cup....soooo maybe it's a conspiracy theory and the old bag won't give the the BEST crew for a reason...i mean his crew's good but we all know they could be a heck of a lot better...

She'd better get off Dale Jr's neck because I believe he'd be a hot commodity on any other established team whether it be RCR, Gibbs or Hendrick. They would surround him with excellent crew chiefs and cars which matched the tracks they ran on. The cars would have enough adjustablity so that the car could be quick on long and short runs. The bigger teams have volumes of notes and setups beyond imagination.
Remember how good Dale Sr. looked at the end of races? Richard's people worked like dogs adjusting on their car during any given race and usually at the end the car would really flying.

easily he ought to go away, DEI isn't any a similar business corporation his father outfitted with Theresa Earnhardt on the helm. Jr is the main time-honored driving force in Nascar and the followers desire to verify him run extra suitable on a relentless foundation, win races, and win championships and regrettably that basically wont happen with DEI. Theresa seems to be particularly pleased with Jr as long as he sells alot of shirts and hats and places earnings her wallet. She would not seem to care too lots with regard to the ingredient of racing that truly concerns and that's to win. Jr ought to unquestionably look someplace else for somebody who will take his occupation to new heights somewhat of dropping time at a diminishing racing good.

She is not real bright when it comes to the media. She was a nobody when Dale Sr married her. She has not clue to the presence that JR brings to the company. She has no other driver who can compare to him right now. She would be smart to back off her stupid comments about her step-son and one of the heirs to the Earnhardt throne. She is only where she is cause so married into it.

i know Thresa is questioning his commitment to the team but i know Junior and he will be back in the Red Budweiser Machine in 2008....although i wouldn't mind seeing him go to Chidress and driving another car that well someone else in his family made famous the Black and gray 3 that would be the best!...but for the most part i hope he stays with DEI...and i think he will do so

Teresa Earnhardt is a smart business woman and there is no way that she would let Jr. go anywhere else. If Jr leaves the family business to drive for someone else that would be a kick in his own butt.

I would reall doubt that Junior would want to leave the #8 team and its his mother I highly doubt that he would leave his mother and fathers company. I mean their is a long line of Earnhardts like he has a brother or two and a sister. I think Teressa is a good business woman and would be proud of her son with whatever decision he chooses but I think his contract doesnt expire until I think 2008 if not after that so hes going to be wiht the #8 team for a while.

Personally I think she is the main reason I hate DEI I don't think she cares about the team just about wanting the title I don't like Jr either but I think she is the perfect example of a wicked step mom I think she is the worse thing that happened to Sr.
