I know I am. You hear all this crap about how America needs to stay out of the rest of the world and stop trying to act like they own it. You hear that we should mind our own bussiness and the Middle Easterns problems should be delt by the Middle East, that we should the Communist to the East alone and let the world deal w/ its own problems. That we, the US, need to keep to ourselves and stop trying to rule over the world. I bet all of you out there have heard something along those lines.

Well, you know what? Lets do it. Lets pull every single one of our troops from every single place, except America. And we'll stop helping the rest of the world and let them deal w/ their own problems. I would give the world 5 years before alot of countries are begging for our help. The Middle East alligns w/ China and starts the next World War a couple years from now (Just an example). Europe would be begging us to come in and help.

Or Iran and N Korea get Nuclear Weapons. We'll have S Korea, Japan, and even China pleading for us to come deal w/ N Korea. And all of Europe and the Middle East to come deal w/ Iran.

There are 100s of situations like this, I just used a couple for examples. But the point is; lets pull in ALL of our troops to the 50 states and see what happens. Yes, America will solve alot of its problems and win the Drug War basically, and it would help us alot on alot of issues. We could use our militarial money to do things that the Democrats want to do; build schools, ect.. But the rest of the world would fall, whether they know it now or not. So yeah, TOMMOROW, pull ALL of the troops back to the 50 states and leave the World w/ its own problems. And dont go back when they call us in a month from now, a year from now, hell a decade from now. Lets do nothing for anyone else, just worry about ourselves. Lets see what happens.

I dont think the majority of you got what I was trying to say. Im not literally saying we should be totally isolated like China did way back when when they first started using gunpowder and didnt want to get their ideas out.

Im just saying to think about it; look at what would happen if the America WOULD do that, not that they should, Im just trying to show all those people that complain about it; that America is a necessity to the rest of the World whether they know it or not.

5 years. I give them about 6 weeks or less. Just stop our food shipments to the rest of the world. Make a bushel of corn cost a barrel of oil.

This would insight an instant Cold War. This is a key element as to why we must establish Iraq as a Democratic republic with separation of church and state.
The Cold War would be inevitable if Iraq does not remain free.
Iran, Iraq, North Korea, China, Russia, and eventually Pakistan would be pitted against the USA, the EU, and India. The new DMZ will be Kashmir.
Russia see's the writing on the wall of a stable and free Iraq and are supporting sanctions as we speak. Especially after Achmadinijhads trouncing in the polls in Iran.
It is now an impossibility to adhere to our original Constitution.
You make an excellent point. Europe would be in financial ruin and we wouldn't be doing much better than the rest of the world.
It would be a second Depression and would be far worse than the first.
Of course it would be us evil Americans to blame once again.

The last time we tried isolationism hitler invaded weatern europe and pearl harbor got bombed. Before that, leading up to WW1 europe fell into a complete warone and we had to step in again.

Sadly, we are the world's police force no one else can do it and if we let everything alone then it would all fall apart. Plus, we would be getting attacked probably by a combination of terrorists and China. Make no mistake China is trying to act like they are friends while they figure out ways to work around our military strategies, etc.

Liberalism is personification of "flippancy" i think. A liberal will rant about equality about all views then be so offended if someone doesn't agree.

These same fools were screaming support the day the twin towers fell. Now they are ready to fire bomb the White House because we went to the very war they once supported. I'm completely not surprised, and neither should you be.

You gotta respect their zeal, at least, right? If we shouted that loud the 10 Commandments would never have been removed from public schools, marriage would not be so confused and the d@mn wildlife in S Cali would not have more rights than humans.

Liberalism should be a clinical form of insanity, i think.

Methinks you are too touchy, dear boy! Sit back and think your idea through for a while... you might then reach the same conclusion as most logical, clear thinking American politicians, namely, that the world needs the USA, and the USA needs the world. So your idea of an insular, isolationist America is a non starter, I'm afraid.

I AGREE. I am tired of the complaining also..nobodys perfect and we do need to tend to our own problems...hunger in America, homeless ppl, pollution,Katrina victims( humans and critters)gangs,etc.....i love the USA and love our allies just as well.but the thing is our country needs need to come first....but right now we cant leave Afghanistan cause it would open it up to terrorists( mostly foreign to Afghanistan) and they would torment the ppl of Afghanistan...Iraq, well they are fighting each other now and i am not sure what we need to do there......

We would be able to stay out of the rest of the world if the rest of the world was not vested in our destruction or defeat.

These isolationist attitudes happened before WW2, a lot of good they did.

you people suck stop doing nonsense answers or you'll be reported! now, if we did pull out of all the countries wouldn't that help our economy ALOT? i mean were not paying for all the war stuff, and payment for soilders.... but, i think what we need to do (at least in the case of Iraq) is go when there's a REAL BIG problem, and stay until the problem has been taken care of (sadaam GONE) and they have a new government thats going well, and they have a good military (NOT an overpowering one) that can defend their country.

Well, America should start worrying about its own problems first before policing the whole world.

China seems to be doing well and so is Hong Kong. So why are you babbling!?
