Endangering someones salvation is No laughing matter. Your brother has lied to you (perhaps out of ignorance). While in its simplest description heaven is kind of like that, he got hell completely wrong! Hell is the grave, when we die we know nothing, we go no where, we see nothing, we think nothing, we do nothing. What he was describing is called purgatory, it is a pagan belief! The Bible does not support it. But what the Bible does say is that the wicked will be destroyed; their bodies, the breath of life that God has given them, and even the very memory of them will be destroyed. Afterwords, God will remake this world for the Saints to live in, free from sin, sinners, and temptation.

No, that is not true. Here is a good analogy of heaven and hell for you:
Scientists have come to the conclusion that "cold" doesn't actually exist. It is just a word used to describe the absence of heat.
They have also concluded that "darkness" doesn't exist. It is just a word used to describe the absence of light.
This is the truth, you can look it up.
Hell is not a place of passionate pleasures, and indulgence, but rather it is a place that doesn't have the presence of God. Where there is sin, God will not dwell in the fullness of His glory. Where there is no God, there is pain and anguish and loneliness, and misery, and ever other word that I can use to describe the absence of His life giving presence.
This is the age old problem for all of mankind. We all have sinned and come short of God's standards, and for that there is price that needs to be paid. But here is the great thing. Jesus came and payed that price for you so that when you die you can go to heaven and be with God.
I hope you have your faith in Jesus as your Savior, so that I can see you in heaven when I get there someday.
Blessings!!
:-)

If there is a heaven, it is a place for the spirit and not the body - I think we can all agree to that. I think that if we are in a spirit existence (and not a physical, earthly existence), I don't think that any of us here can really grasp what heaven will be like - but I can tell you that the only hell that I can relate to is our own personal hell on earth that comes from negative emotions like guilt, fear, greed, boredom, hatred etc.
The best thing we can do in this lifetime is follow the Golden Rule - Treat others and we want to be treated - and choose joy and peace whenever we can. If we are happy, respectful people 80-90% of the time, we can hardly go wrong, right?
Peace!

To be honest, a lot of younger kids think that hell will be a party place. The Bible describes hell as a place punishment for all time..... of great sorrow, pain, and knashing of teeth. That to me doesn't sound like a place to party. Think of this too, when we die, we leave our bodies here. We become spiritual beings.......so what is the use of sex? Anything physical (sex, alcohol) wouldn't affect our spiritual bodies anyway, nor would there be anything physical around. Why would we be watering plants? Where did your brother get this from?. This is only my personal opinion, but if that was true, I'd much rather be watering plants then the other option. Best of luck to you.

Strictly speaking, what your brother told you is probably not true. Nobody even knows if a Heaven and Hell exist. Your best bet is to make your lifetime here truly enjoyable and to hell with your afterlife. You should do everything you ever wanted to do, experience all the riches that life can offer. However, as a common courtesy, follow the rule 'do unto others as you would want others to do unto you' and you should be fine. If what you intend to do deviate strongly from societal norms as to be unacceptable to the majority of the population, seek psychological help.

I don't think your brother likes you, hell is nothing like that. You burn for eternity and lots of other awful things. And in Heaven I doubt you water plants. you will be happy. No more pain ,tears,hate...... I can go on and on. The only way you can go to Heaven is by accepting Jesus as your Savior. If you don't know what that means email me.

Sweetheart, your brother was DEFINATELY lying to you. Hell is the worst place in the world. Sinners go there when they die. You DONT want to go there because if you do then you will spend literally FOREVER burning in fire. But heaven... it's PARADISE! All of God's children go there. It's BEAUTIFUL and you dont water plants and talk to Jesus everyday... the plants don't need to be watered.... no one is ever sick or hurt and you get to do FUN stuff!
Please don't listen to your brother!!

Jehovah's witnesses are extra in touch approximately watchtower theories and not what Jesus Christ has performed for all and sundry on the go and how He rose the 0.33 day and defeated dying. they do no longer comprehend Jesus Christ as their very own Savior so as that they make up stupid innovations approximately salvation that one won't discover everywhere interior the Bible and that they seem to be a cult and so show cult like techniques Moises_Friaz aka Moses previous has no thought what Salvation is and for what reason Jesus Christ rose from the ineffective and is alive consistently extra and if he did he could be worshiping Jesus Christ and not watchtower

Heaven is a place where there is no more pain or suffering and you are in the presence of God (how awesome?)!
Hell is a place where you are always suffering. Imagine if you were floating in space, in a dark abyss with no human contact or any way to feel alive at all. You'd go insane.

Heaven is a place of peace, joy and propriety. I believe it'll be better than anything we can ever imagine, but to guess, i would say it is where all of your wishes, hopes and dreams come true. There is no pain, sadness, or anger.
Hell on the other hand is a place where all of our worst fears come true, I guess.
