If it is made with real olive oil (not other vegetable oils) and good ingredients, as good nuts, it is a very healthy food, with a lot of no saturated fats, whih are good for your heart, and proteins that come form the nuts. But if you buy it you have to be careful: look at the ingredients.

Let's see, basil and garlic are good for you, so is olive oil, cheese, and nuts in moderation. However, the last three ingredients are so high in fat!

I'd give it a C+ for health, and an A+ for the flavor. I love pesto.
