You won't have to worry about it much longer. The liberal Democrats will whine, cry, stomp their feet and eventually get their way. We will pull out of Iraq with our tails tucked between our legs as we did in Nam. And, just like in Nam, when the enemy slaughters and butchers more innocent people, you can stay safe in your bed at night. The carnage won't affect you, you can just turn your head and pretend it isn't happening, just like Hanoi Jane and her ilk did when the north broke their word, invaded the south and annihilated countless thousands in Nam.
Maybe you can sleep with your hands hovering over a large bowl so the blood on them wont drip onto your nice clean satin sheets.

The nonsense you are spewing is something I would expect to hear from an eighteen year old who is about to sign up for the selective service, not someone who should have developed a bit of wisdom and world analysis, in his sixty years of existence on this earth.
We are fighting a war today in both Afghanistan and Iraq against an adversary who has vowed to destroy the US. This isn't the same war it started out to be, that portion is pretty much been done. Saddam is no longer in charge and Iraq has a new government, a democracy! This is a new enemy we are fighting, in many ways, this is the same group of jihadists who attacked our nation on 9/11/01. That attack has not been avenged and this enemy has not been destroyed. Until that happens, this war will more than likely continue until this happens.
There isn't anything the new democrats can say or do to change that, as a matter of fact, most of them are slithering to middle ground to look more moderate, and to ward off attacks from the right towards their more liberal views.
Doesn't that sound familiar? It almost sounds like the same slimy tactics Clinton used to neutralize Bob Dole's efforts, in his bid for the White House. It's too bad Dole and his handlers couldn't see that, but this time we can, at least those of us who are watching!
Your analysis of what the people of Iraq are thinking regarding the US presence also sounds like that same 18 year old signing up for selective service. The Iraqi people know better than anyone what will happen if the US leaves their country and, on that basis, they need us to stay. Truly, they don't like the idea of foreign troops on their soil, but for now it's the lesser of two evils!
I wonder if people like yourself are willing to eat crow, if in fact, GWB comes out of this whole mess as the Abe Lincoln of the middle east?

How long before people realize that EVERYONE signed on the dotted line all by themselves. The idiots are the ones who enlist in the military and don't expect to fight a war. What else is the military for?
Would you pick up that same rifle to defend the safety of your family? Iraq is one source of the terrorists that come over here and disrupt our safety.
Here's a little tactic...
My father told me that if my younger bro or sis got in trouble, I was held responsible. Well...I say lets pick an area in Iraq and say if there was any terrorist activity in the US, we'll wipe out that area.
Here's what will happen...
Of course we'll get tested. I expect that. BUT...after a couple of "deleted" areas, we'll either get the source or whoever is the "next area", will actually help to stop the problem.
A little extreme, but sooner or later...No more terrorists.

It is difficult to even think about. It looks as if most human efforts are not bringing about a solution, that we are all looking for, for the problems in the Middle East. I have turned to God in prayer for protection and safety of our troops. For the President G.W. Bush and all the members of our Government, I pray that God would give them guidance and wisdom for the decisions, they need to make, that a peaceful solution will bring this war to an end. I give thanks for the forthcoming answers in Jesus Name. Our Churches pray for World Peace, will you join us. God bless you and Merry Christmas

In the time it took for you to post this diatribe, you could have admited to yourself that you will never pickup a rifle to do fight anyone. Also, these types of questions are a waste of space, if you feel so strongly, why aren't you running for office? Quit whining and post a solution.

We volunteers are big boys. We don't need you worrying about us. In case you missed it the Iraqis had a vote and adopted the gov't they wanted. It is only a small portion that keeps stirring up trouble, a good portion of which were murderous henchmen of Saddam.

Bush has all the cards. whenver he feels likepulling out of Iraq then we will, but until then he wants to stary there to "win the mission", if you ask me I say the "mission" is a lost cause the iraqies wont support thmeselve even with our help.

If it weren't for them you'd be dead and unable to post such a stupid comment. Be thankful for the men and women that protect even the people like you that obviously have no respect.
