used petroleum jelly and the lotion that is procribed by dermotologist. Hurts and itches really bad please help

I am presently suffering from the same problem. Have tried to eliminate different soaps and detergents i use. So far no help. However, i do realize that anything with scents only makes the problem worse. I think we might be suffering from an allergic reaction to the chemicals in those lotions. Am going to try straight aloe vero myself. Will keep up with this question as i am in a quandry too.

Sounds as if you're having an allergic reaction to it.
It may also be the combination of things. I've always had good luck with Lubriderm. You can use it a few times a day and it works quickly.

It probably has petrolatum (or mineral oil) in it. It clogs your pores so bad and will make anyone break out.

I WOULD USE AVEENO SOAP, IT HELPS WITH DRY ITCHY SKIN
