Probably dogs because they save lives and theyare more energetic and more of a companion!

I prefer cats. Sometimes they can be aloof, but when you are feeling down, and they purr and rub against you while you are sitting there, they are a great comfort. They will happily lay beside you while you sleep and are truly hard to disturb. They don't require the time that dogs do, but at the same time, when you call them, they are more of a leave a message and I'll get back to you kind of pet. A dog on the other hand will always see what you want. If you don't have the time to spend with a pet, a cat will make due with what you can give it. A dog always wants more. Thus, in my busy hectic life, a cat is perfect.

My favorite dog is my 5 month old Bichonpoo, Esperanza. She is so smart, easily trainable. Very cute see her photo at left and on my 360. She is mellow, loves all people and all other animals. She is the best dog I ever owned. My favorite cat is my Russian Blue, Friday. She is a bit temperamental but can be a real sweetheart when she wants to be. She is almost 11 years old and she accepted Esperanza and all her puppy antics without a problem.

Both dogs and cats are great animals to own. I personally prefer dogs over cats.

I am a total dog person and would never have cat in the house. I have them in the barn to catch mice but that is it. Dogs are 100 times more loyal, loving, affectionate, trainable, and way better companions. They love you no matter what you look like or fell like, to them you are always a god. They are estatic when you come home, they can protect you and your home. You can train them to do almost anything, and most of all you always matter to them no matter what. Cats careless if you are or not in existence.

I'm more partial to cats; I kinda like the fact that they are finicky and have that "I-don't-need-you" attitude. I could easily see how some would prefer dogs for they are complete opposite-always happy to see you. I myself get easily annoyed by an animal that jumps up on me and slobbers.

I like dogs because they are cute cuddly. Also cats are OK. But I like dogs more!

Dogs for sure. You can play with them, exercise with them, and train them to do cool tricks. In return they can protect from anything in your way. I don't think cats cats can do that.
