This is normal. She has a biological need to hunt-by stalking you, she is exercising it. Unless she is causing you harm, I wouldn't worry about it. It pretty normal.

Well if we could all have problems this serious, the world would be pretty cool.
Kittens "play" stalk, but can't really do the real thing. Basically newborn kittens can't see very well, most cats see in black and white and are still learning to get their vision right so "stalking" is really them learning how to triangulate and determine depth. It certainly has some of the traits of stalking but that's also what cats do in the wild so she probably could also be attached to you and thinks of you as a "fellow" cat.
Also while they might have some nibbling teeth but probably nothing that could hurt you it's just that your cat is young and sees you around and figures it's an opportunity to play "hunt".
I would keep some string or something with you, let them get some play time in with small moving objects.

She needs to play and she sounds like a mouser, so get a couple of toys, get one with a long string on it and play with her make her chase it. Also try the paper ball trick, my cat fetches, but only the paper balls, it's hilarious just crunch it up and throw it and see if she brings it back, she might just play with it because of the crinkly noise. Another thing get her the mouses that come it packs of six, my cat loves to stick them under the carpet edges and then hunt for it. I also put down a small towel and put the mouse or the paper ball under it, it keeps her occupied for a long time. Most importantly cats need play time so give her at least one half an hour a day. Good luck, she'll change her stalking ways I really think she's bored.

Sounds like you have quite the tiger on your hands. First of all, she is not going to attack you when you're not looking...unless it's just to play. According to one episode of Animal Planet: The Most Extreme, the most extreme predator is the housecat!! She's just purrrrfecting her technique so when she gets a little older, she'll be able to take down her true prey-mice, birds, etc. Mark my words, you won't have any vermin issues once she's mature. Until then, if it truly gets to you, just stomp on the ground in front of you with one foot and say "Boo!" She'll either scatter or just look at you funny. Either way, you'll show her you are not scared of her and show her you're boss. It'll make you feel better, too. Good Luck!!

I have had cats for many years.
I have a kitten too. It is normal for baby cats to wnat to stalk. It is part of their learning and growing process.
Are their other cats to practice stalk? Mine likes to stalk all my other 3 cats which are at least twice his size.
Are their big mouses and other great cat toys and games kitty is enouraged to play with.
Remember he is a cat. In the wild that is how they get food and even more than that a baby cat who is honing his skills.

Your cat is just playing with you. My cat dose that all the time. When my cat starts doing that she is trying to tell you she wants to play. If its really scaring you just take some string and move it around she will start to stalk the string.

that is her way of playing. You dont need to be scared. One thing I know is that you should not let her use your body parts as a toy cuz when she gets older she will bite and scratch you and it can hurt. The best thing to do is always have a toy that she can attacked once she starts to attack you so she will learn that YOU are not a toy even though she can play WITH you.

When mine do that I turn it into some fun. Like another cat. I have been known to wait in places and bounce at them. They run at first, but then they learn I'm playing. It's fun bouncing around with them.
