Who needs dry ice on board an aircraft???

It's for those people who drug other peoples drinks and they wake up in the morning in the bathtub with one kidney missing... well, the kidney has to stay cool on the way to the middle east or wherever the client is....

(sorry...the grinch made me say that....bad, bad grinch!)

Some perishable items, such as medical samples being couriered to labs, need to be kept on ice. The dry ice allowance facilitates this.

to keep perishables from perishing on long flights. This is because there is no refrigeration service on board an aircraft.

Well if someone went on a hunting trip and is bringing back the meat it needs to stay cold..... I did that when I went deer hunting in a different state.
