How do you tease your hair?

I mean like the 80's thing, not teasing as in meaning mean.

I come from the generation of hair teasing. You can use any comb you want, works better with a comb than brush. Just told the hair, and comb it upward rather than down as normal, not one straight comb up, jagged little bits upward if that makes sense, it fluffs it and it makes it look like you have more hair, move the comb up the hair slowly combing up small amounts at a time as you go up the strand of hair.

You need to take a rat-tail comb (the small kind with a long, narrow plastic handle and the skinny, close teeth). Pull a strand of your hair up into the hair and take the rat-tail comb and slowly brush your hair down, starting at the top. It should create that teased effect. It's hard to explain in words!

you take a brush that is not spiky but kind of a bushy brush ( i hope you know what i mean) and you brush the hair you want to tease backwards towards yout scalp. its great and it addds volume to your hair. it's also a 60's thing because you teased your hair before you sprayed with hair spray. although teaseing your hair kind of breakes it and makes it more prone to breakage. so try a volumizing shampoo and you can puff it up and then use hair spray but if you want to do the teasing follow the instructions above. thx for the 2 points!!!!

instead of combing it down so that there are no tangles, hold your hair at the bottom and move the comb upward.
