cholesterol can be reduced by having a high fibre diet (fruits and vegetable), choosing vegetables and fruits which have a deep colour, avoiding saturted fats , eating less of other fats too, choosing fish over other meats, low fat milk products, and daily exercise (walking/jogging helps a lot),
30 ml of whisky per day mite help in invcreaing HDL cholesterol which is the good cholesterol, but a better choice of an alcoholic drink would be red wines which are rich in antioxidants too.. Antioxidants help in raising HDL cholesterol levels.
You can have 60 ml of redwine per day

Wine reduces cholesterol because one of the things that alcohol does is fight bad cholesterol (not very much but a little) (and they say one or two drinks a day is most affective) so really any alcoholic beverage is good for your heart. I would suggest whiskey in cherry coke....very good

Reduce stress, exercise regularly, eat healthy, try limiting salt intake (some people are salt-sensitive, meaning that excess salt can increase their blood pressure). Smoking and caffiene also increase blood pressure, so reducing/eliminating these will also help. There are also various prescription drugs for reducing blood pressure. The most effective treatments usually involve a combination of lifestyle, diet, and drug therapies, but for only somewhat-high to moderately-high BP, your doctor might not want to prescribe drugs until you've tried some of the other options first. Treatment options are definitely something you want to talk to your doctor about, since side effects and drug interactions are possible, and he/she should be up to date with most current treatment methods.
